- Isaac the Blind
- (fl. 12th-13th cent)Franco-Spanish kabbalist, son of Abraham ben David of Posquieres. He was one of the earliest kabbalists in Provence and Spain. He transmitted his teachings orally and wrote a commentary on the Sepher Yetzirah. He has been referred to as the 'father of kabbalah'.
